OC Brewing Company has a lot of potential as it is located in the middle of Ocean City near Seacrets and Fagers with a huge amount of seating and giant TV's. It also has limited competition as there is only 1 other brewery in OC. Unfortunately, potential is the only positive from our experience. It took quite some time for a server to come to our table and to receive our drinks after ordering them. The flights were like nothing I've experienced at a brewery. As they have around a dozen beers on tap, I was hoping to try a variety of them via the usual avenue of small tasting glasses. However there is only the option to try 3, 5 ounce glasses to my disappointment. The food was another issue. This also took A LONG TIME to come to our table which was surprising, because it was not food that was prepared fresh. Think something along the lines of buffalo wild wings food which takes little prep and is not fresh. Thus low quality and not very good. In all, the beer prices were fair however with the high food prices for the low quality of food (there was a $12 Nathan's hot dog on the menu) I would not recommend coming to OC Brewing Company.

Let me start by saying the staff was very friendly. But the food wasn't as good as last year and neither was the beer.
(3)Colin T.
Good food and atmosphere, and I'm not a big beer person but a nice selection of beers and beers to go!
(4)Helen L.
Had the swordfish. The fish was incredibly dry and not seasoned enough. The green beans were overcooked and dry, tater tots seemed frozen and overfried. Both were bland and unseasoned. And it's priced at 21? Being that its a brewery thought the beer would at least be good. Unfortunately, the beer was pretty flat. Not enough carbonation.... service was good tho.

Very friendly staff, but very long wait for food due to it being an extra busy night there. Good was decent, we had the crab dip appetizer which was served with a hot pretzel. I had a buffalo chicken flat bread which was rather skimpy on the chicken. Also, this place is LOUD!!! Seems to be super popular though. Many thanks to our hostess for seating us quickly and lending us a booster seat for our son, it was much appreciated!

I've only been here twice but both times I've been really impressed with the service of the bartenders and the General Manager. I ordered the Kangaroo burger and the wing which were fantastic. I couldn't decide on any one beer so I ordered two flights. The beer is amazing but the bartenders Gringo and Branden made this an enjoyable lunch!
(5)Daniel P.
Really good food and even better beer. The egg-rolls are amazing. I definitely recommend trying a bunch of different egg-rolls and sharing them. All the food is good, but make sure to get a few samplers of beer!!
(4)Chris G.
Just used our groupon, staff was really nice and helpful! Beers were good, they have a great varietal from very aromatic wheats, heavy porters, to nicely hopped IPAs. Will definitely be back to try some their food and the rest of their beers! Cheers!

This was the best cheeseburger I've had with bacon and a fried egg, it's called the Hangover Helper. The black cherry cider is killer! They even had kids meals. This place really is cool with tours of the on site brewery. Love the German style festival tables. The island chicken was fantastic as well. Portions and price was good. Only downsides was that the ac wasn't working well and it was a hot humid day.
(4)Angie L.
The food was very tasty, but the portions were a bit small for the price. They menu has a good variety, with a lot of unusual choices, but still has all the basics. My daughter's chicken tenders tasted like fresh fried chicken without the bone, not the processed type with pressed meat. The chips are made fresh and the Carolina slaw was different. The waitress was very friendly, but not the most attentive. We will definitely come back on our next OCMD visit.
(4)Tony J.
Our bartender Dan was cool but if you like beer than this is the place to come. Try a flight for $6 you get 3 kinds of beer. The food is not that good and it's overpriced!!!!

Surprised to see the low reviews on here, but looks like they are due to service issues. I visited here on July 4 when Hurricane Arthur rolled through OC and found it to be a great place to hang out and have a beer(s) while the storm passed. My husband and I arrived here around 11:30 that morning - we figured with the bad weather and the World Cup the place would get busy quickly. The place was nearly empty, when we arrived (snagged 2 seats at the bar) but within a 1/2 hour the place was packed. Luckily, since we were up front at the bar we had the attention of the bartender, so we didn't experience any service issues (it was a tad slow at some times, but there were only 2 bartenders working an extremely large crowd, and they were HUSTLING. Food was ok. I had the pretzel with the dip - it was a tad disappointing. The cheese was really watery and the mustard was just out of the jar. Beer was great though! I really enjoyed the OC Lager and my husband liked the Dragon's Moon. They had a ton of beer on tap, which was really fun, and they make a ton of seasonals. Bonus - if you check in on Yelp you get $$ off food! A fun atmosphere and I'd return.
(4)Ryan B.
Beer was very good and fairly priced. Lots of space to go with a group of people. The Yelp coupon for appetizers and the deal with the tours is also pretty cool: $10 for a flight, tour, coupons to the store, and a photo frame. Nuckin Futs and Spoiled Brat were my favorites.
(4)Katelynn S.
The craft beers on tap are awesome here!! My boyfriend and I stopped here for dinner back in January. The food was good. I wasn't overly impressed but it was still good. We tried their beer and were definitely impressed. So when we were down in OCMD this past week, we decided to stop in for some drinks. We ended up stopping by both nights for drinks. The "nuckin futs" is probably my favorite although they have a watermelon beer that's also just as delicious! This place is definitely somewhere you should stop if you love trying new craft beers. Before we left OCMD, my boyfriend and I decided to stop by again to buy some bottles to take home. I couldn't say enough about how wonderful the employees are here. Some of the beers we wanted to buy weren't stocked. They had someone bottle more for us. They even brought out two large bags of ice for us to put on the beer for the long drive home. Its nice to see the employees actual care about their customers.

We stopped in here for Monday Night Football. It was offseason, so it was not crowded at all. Ryan was our server, and he was very knowledgable and his service was great. We each got a flight of different beers and pretty much liked them all. After the first flight, I stuck with the OC Lager. It went down great with the Jerk Chicken Egg Rolls. We will definitely be back.
(5)Jackie K.
Service was friendly. They were a little slow but they seemed to be understaffed so I didn't deduct a star. We only have beer. They do $6 flights (of 3 pours) which is nice. They also have a few draft beers from other local companies. The bartender was super nice and able to help us with our choices. My favorite was the Joshua Red Ale and my brother liked the Red Rye IPA. Overall some beers were bland/boring but others were very good. They have so many choices, it seems like they are working on finding which one works best for them. I would come back to try their new stuff and I missed their Kolsh :-(

Been here twice now and the food is better than the beer. You are a "Brewing Company" and restaurant, right?? Each time, I got the 3 flights of beer and followed up with a pint of the beer which I liked. However, I have tried 6 different brews in flights and my wife's Rt. 50 pale ale. I am not impressed with the beer at all and I consider myself a craft beer person. After trying 7 different brews, I liked 2 of them. The Spoiled Brat was so bad that I could not even finish the flight. I keep hoping to find at least half of the beer taps to my liking. At least they have a lot of beer to try but maybe the brewer is new and is learning. As for the food, some items are way overpriced. For example the eggrolls which are basically an appetizer for $9 or more and they are "normal sized" eggrolls but fancy special types. The flatbread pizzas and burgers are more reasonably priced and the ones which I had were good. Food is bar food & they try to promote the eggrolls probably because of the profit margins. They definitely discourage you from bringing kids in with $8 kids meals and more than half of the seating at high tables. Oh well. I hoped to like the place a lot more than I have in terms of beer but the number of TVs, projection TVs, food, and overall atmosphere is good. However, I have yet to visit during the busy time of Summer so time will tell...

I looked up the menu online for this restaurant before coming. We also picked up a zeroxed carry out menu. The same zeroxed menu was available at the entrance when we arrived and seated ourselves. Since we thought we knew the menu ahead of time, some members of our party had decided what they wanted to order. When our waitress came to the table she told us that the online menu was incorrect and so was the zeroxed one that we had gotten earlier and that was still available at the front of the restaurant. These were not items temporarily out of stock, they had been permanently taken off the menu. So their marketing and front of house is doing a very poor job. Also, they were out of mac and cheese (which is on the kids menu) for the evening. It was a Saturday night. Mac and cheese is not exotic and requires few ingredients , they should have sourced the ingredients however they could. Given that menu items were not available (fish and chips, charcuterie plate) we would have left, but it was a fathers day meal and we didn't want to find another restaurant. That said, our apps were good. We got the pretzels, fried pickles, and irish nachos. Our party enjoyed the flatbreads and the shrimp taco's. The seafood alfredo was not very good. Watery sauce. My daughter loved the dark side of the moon dessert but the whipped cream tasted like Redi Whip artificial non dairy product. I would have expected real whipped cream. We won't return mainly because I need to be able to trust the menu online. I can understand being temporarily out of perishable ingredients. But to not bother to change the menu online when it is permanently changed is lazy. As is giving out old menus when a customer comes in specifically to see the menu and decide if they want to return.

Visiting the brewery and going on a tour is perfect for that beach day that just got rained out. There is a fee for this but it's really not bad. It's inexpensive and you get a short brewery tour, beer tastings and some OCB swag. I, of course, had to add on a coozie to my tasting purchase because I need all the coozies in the world to remember the places that I have toured and drank. The beers on the other hand were not my faves. They have a huge list of beers that they make. You get to pick a few for your tasting and get a token for a $1 off a pint. Having a ton of funny labeled and fun named beverages is cool, but they could also be stretching themselves a little bit and not really letting them perfect a few beers and making those good. Boo. Still a fun hang when you need to get out of the sun for a few.

After a long car ride to ocean city we were all hungry. Stopped here to eat dinner and it was a great place to eat. The food was very good, the buffalo chicken dip with pretzel was top notch. Entrees were good as well. The beer was tasty. Seated quickly, staff was friendly and informative. Overall great time. Would recommend this place to families and the younger crowd.
(5)Allan B.
Nifty flights and great food. The house chips were unique and the service knowledgeable and friendly. The cole slaw pairs nicely atop the avocado jack burger. OC Brewery boasts an open eating space and a gift shop! The overall experience was typical for breweries with nothing particularly eye-catching or unique. It was also noisy and lacks a significant atmosphere.

My husband and I love craft beer and seeking out new breweries. We stopped in here two days before Thanksgiving. The facility was gorgeous and I was excited to try some of their beers. We both like IPAs so no need to do an entire sampler. My husband asked if he could just have a small taste of it before we paid the full premium price for an entire pint and the answer was "you can buy a sampler." We explained to him very nicely that we really didn't need the sampler but just a small sip and the answer was the same. Now I can understand when the place is packed in the summer or if it had a long history of good business, then why would you give away an ounce of beer. However, when there were literally only 5 other people in the entire place and that included the bartender. If the bartender had agreed (and I'm sure he has been told not to give out samples), we would have appreciated the taste and then probably stayed for dinner. It makes good business sense rather than insisting you pay premium prices for several mini-beers. So we drank our one beer each and left for another brewing company down the street. As for the beer itself, it just wasn't that good. We will not be going back to OC Brewing Company. The management might want to check out the competition down the road and learn a few tips about how to treat customers. We went back to that establishment twice and not only drank their own craft beer but also ate food, as well.

My family and I decided based on the reviews this would be a good place to have dinner. The place was empty for a Wednesday nite. No hostess on duty. Just go and seat yourself. It took about 10 mins before someone approached us. (If it would have been 2 mins longer we were leaving.). It took about 30 minutes before our meal arrived. This gave us time to sample a few beers made there. Very good brews. The food arrived. For the most part it was okay. Not outstanding. My oldest ordered the burger of the week. $15 for a burger and 1 small slice of corned beef. The burger was good but really 1 small slice. I ordered the beef sandwich which was good but could have used a BBQ sauce. My wife ordered flat bread buffalo chicken got the sandwich instead. They rushed to fix and screwed the flat bread up. Once it was fixed it was just ok. With average food and high price. Not worth it for food stop in for beer yes. But food there are better

OC Brewing Company is wonderful addition to OC, especially for hop heads. Went to the restaurant last night with my wife. Wonderful service, phenomenal beer selection, and delicious food. I had the Big BBQ flatbread and my wife had the Pear and Pecan flatbread - very good. I recommend trying the flights of OC Brewing Co.'s vast selection of beers brewed on site. Nuckin' Futs is a delicious brew, as was "Alrighy Then", their watermelon/mint wheat beer. Only negative was the prices of some of the dishes, including the crab balls, which for $14 should have included more of the apps. All in all, highly recommended.
(4)Chris A.
Beer and atmosphere were good. Go with a flight, same price as 1 beer but you won't get stuck with too much of a beer you won't like. Food was ok, all of our stuff was over cooked or nothing to write home about and some things were just way over priced...like an $18 flat bread pizza with some old bay on top...stay away from that one for sure. But we went for the beer and with a large selection of local brews, they got that one right.
(4)Tuan L.
Great place. The Egg Roll is amazing. Fair price. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
(5)Janet M.
Loved! Bartender Jason was the best! All the food was excellent...and the grapefruit crushes!!!
(5)Lynanne W.
We had a party of 30. They accommodated is with no problem. Food was really good. Had a flat bread with shro and crab. Daughter had the soft pretzels which were HUGE and tasty. The beers were excellent . Good choices with wide variety to sit everyone's taste from darkest of porters to pale ales...
(4)Kris L.
Beer is interesting- tried 2 beer flights for a total of 6 beers. The nuckin futs beer was really yummy, but I was glad I only got a small glass because boy it was sweet. Kind of reminded me of pecan pie. The pumpkin beer tastes like banana bread and was pretty good too. I'd pass on the pub pretzel. It was just ok and not worth the $9 price tag. But the egg rolls were really creative and were good. Service was friendly but really slow and not that attentive. There were a couple of huge parties in tonight that slowed it up though so I would definitely consider updating my review if I came again and had better service... But tonight it took 35 minutes between when we ordered and when we got our appetizer. I'd come back but I don't think I'd go out of my way to try it again here. Maybe I'd come just for the beer.
(3)Chris G.
Disappointing at the most. Nice clean resturant with friendly and fast staff. Dined in the OC off season so it was not very packed at dinner time. The beers were OK, nothing special. Not something I'll request the cloest liquor store to start carrying. The best word I can think of to describe the sampler and one pint would be 'basic'. If your looking for craft beers find a place that had Dogfish, Flying dog or heavy seas if you're in the mood for Maryland craft beers. The food matched the beers. Not craft or cared for. Chicken tenders for the kids were actually extruded chicken meat formed 'tenders', $8, deep fried as expected. It came with a side and desert. They gave us two apple sauces instead of an ice cream which was very nice. The Flatbread, mammas meatball, was unexciting and tastes frozen and pre packaged, at $12. Tater tots were very good. Crunchy outside soft interior. Not overly greasy. Egg rolls seem to have the most talking points in reviews, perhaps we chose wrong? The Cubano sounded awesome but came out soaked in oil. I get it's deep fried but you would think the egg roll would be crispy on the out side not something needing to be pat dry. Again not much flavor even with the mustard dipping sauce. Our hamburger was cooked perfectly and exactly as ordered. Juicy and flavorful. Toppings seemed fresh. I'd order this again. This seemed like someone with a passion for beer wanted to open a brewery, tacked on a resturant and took complete control of the menu. Food quality is borderline TGI Fridays. My guess is the kitchen has no day in the overly large menu. Paring it down might increase food qaulity. Two adults. Two children under 2. $80 bill with tip.
(2)Justin M.
The staff was fantastic. The bartender knew everything about all the beers and one of the servers took us on a walk through of the brewery. The beer itself was unique and there was a large variety to choose from for all kinds of tastes. The food was great as well. I had a steak sandwich (I forget what it was called) and it was tender and flavorful.
(5)Scott M.
Went over the summer. The food was very good for a brew pup, often brew pubs either have just okay beer and above average food or below average food and great beer. Ocean City Brewing company offered a great range of both. The beer was so good, that I had to fill up a growler before I went back to Northern Delaware. I had the fish tacos which were very tasty. Other members of my party said their food might have been over salted, but that is always relative. Also ordered the fried pickle which was very good but I do prefer the fried pickle chips to the fried pickle strips. The biggest upside is you are getting authentic Ocean City experience with out all the crowds of the normal crowd favorites and they are one of the only places you get a choice of good beer.
(4)Maria M.
Hospitable but slow. Food was ok. Colossal crab salad wasn't so colossal. Vidalia dressing was good. Good price.
(3)Steve M.
Great beer, imaginative and tasty food selections, knowledgeable wait staff who are enthusiastic about the beers and the foods. We'll be back every time we come to Ocean City. Cons: noisy Pros: see my first paragraph
(4)Matt M.
We almost didn't go in - my wifes not the biggest fan of small breweries. Had we passed by we would have missed out on some very tasty beers! We sampled 9 beers all together and a few of them were definitely ones I'd take home. Food wise we got fried pickles and steamed shrimp, both were very good and fresh. They have a large amount of seating and a ton of great TVs for catching games (wish we'd known about that for the Eagles game the day before!). And for anyone who doesnt like beer or micro brews they have a fully stocked bar and some non OCBC beers available. Definitely recommend stopping in - I'll be back during our next visit to OCMD!
(4)Mackenzie M.
We had great service despite what the other reviews said. It wasn't too busy. The food took a little longer than usual to come out the our server was very apologetic. My husband loved his. I got a teriyaki chicken sandwich and it was pretty bland but everything else was great!
(4)Robyn B.
Great place! Our waitress, Cassidy was really nice. We ordered the burgers, and they were one of the best we ever had. We tried a few of the beers in the smaller glasses which was great because we could then pick what we wanted. I like the layout inside, regular seating, high tops or bar area. We didn't do the tour, but heard that is neat. They even sell take home packs of the beer they brew in the gift shop! Lots of TVs to watch sports in the bar area. When we went they were building a deck out front, can't wait to sit out there.
(5)Lindsay B.
Don't bother going. The food & beer were not worth it at all. Can't try the beer unless you want a small flight glass for $3. As someone who has traveled the country hitting up breweries, the beer is not that good. You can't tell the difference between a few of them. It all tastes the same. Our food took forever and some of it had to be sent back because it was cold, but "they just took it out so they couldn't possibly understand why it was cold". Totally not kid friendly and the mother of the owner is absolutely horrendous and screamed at all the kids in the restaurant over and over again. I've never seen anything like it. If you see an older woman with dark hair running the front- go find another brewery/restaurant. I promise you, we are saving you from an over priced experience with pretty bad customer service.
(1)Amy B.
Great place and great food!!!! Definitely stopping back this week to try the house sangria and the crab and shrimp Alfredo.
(5)Richard W.
First time visit to OC Brewing company. Pretty good selection of beers. Had the OC lager thumbs up. Route 50 two thumbs up. Nuckin Futs thumbs down. Social X thumbs up. Chili Cilantro Lime wings two thumbs up. flat bread pizza disappointing. Overall experience was average. Food prices above average, food was average, craft beers above average. Service was average nothing special.
(3)Donna O.
The 'Spoiled Brat' is so good...11% ABV it's served in a champagne glsss. Food was delicious too.
(5)Jason B.
Don't really understand the bad reviews. Maybe they got their acts together since most complaints were about service. Went on a busy Friday night, the server was attentive and always around. But she wasn't hounding us constantly. So we were able to have a good meal, good drinks and good conversation while having our server available whenever our glass was getting close to empty. The food was good, a little pricey (thus the 4 stars) but you kind of expect that in OC. The beer was good. Definitely would come back.
(4)Scott S.
Place looks awesome. It was a slow night but the service was great and so were the beers. I didn't get any food but I got a Pickle Vodka shot, it was really good. The Only problem was that the AC wasn't on and it was uncomfortably warm. Would def go again.
(4)Diana C.
The beer was a bit disappointing but the cocktail menu made up for it! Great atmosphere with plenty of seating and TV's. The menu offered standard bar fare, all which was a bit overpriced. Their "almost famous" egg rolls are pretty delicious!
(3)Travis W.
This place has it all - and it's all great! In addition to craft beers, the place has: giant TVs for sports, corn hole, great specials, big chess game, merchandise/store and an always nice waitstaff.
(5)Jen R.
It was a cold, rainy day. Looking for something different, we decided to take the brewery tour. I was totally more than impressed. We met with the "head brewer" who was much more than professional. The tour was very brief and less than interesting. I wasn't crazy about any of their brews (I tried a total of 9). My husband is a huge fan of craft beer and agreed with my overall poor review. The place was clean and overall welcoming, but disappointing.
(3)Kerry C.
Let me tell you, if you're in Ocean City, this is a must see! Friendly staff as soon as you walk in, and the place is huge! I enjoyed the veggie lovers egg roll, filling and delicious. Their beer, which you can get in a flight of three is to die for, the watermelon mint wheat was my favorite. Their beer is unique and the bartenders seem to be knowledgeable about the whole menu and history of OCBC. Seems like they really enjoy being there too, which isn't always the case at places in OCMD. Highly recommended for big groups and families! WE WILL BE BACK!
(5)Rodney J.
A lot of interesting beers. We tried a few and all were good. They have a wide selection of egg rolls. Many I have never seen before. We tried the cheesesteak and Cuban egg rolls. Both were very good. I would like to go back and try all the egg rolls. I got the shrimp tacos for my meal and they were very good as well. The other 3 people in the group liked their meals as well. They have huge projection TVs - good for watching Orioles games on. The only real knock against the place is the service is a little unorganized. There was a group of about 12 people that came in after us and ordered after us and got their food before us. Our waitress was a little bit out there - may have been high or something but overall not a huge deal. Our waitress did say the place has only been open 7 weeks so they are probably still working out the kinks as far as service goes. Would definitely come back to this place when in OCMD again.
(4)Lashonda T.
This place is new it has been open for 3 weeks. The place was really nice inside they have a storefront in the front of the store & the bar and tables are set up nice the table legs are designed with kegs which was neat. They only had 6 beers you could choose from that were craft beers so the menu is deceiving was pretty upset about that also the service sucked the waitress didn't introduce us to any beers because I'm a beer snob I knew what each should taste like. She never smiled or really checked up on us she is lucky to even get a tip. Overall it was a great experience I was just upset all craft beers weren't available. They should have waited to open until all their craft beers were available.
(3)Roswell Einstein M.
Unfiltered beer right out of casks - decent food and no line. If you love beer like me this is a "MUST" stop - love these type of brew houses!!! The beer was great. Only knock I can give is had a turkey burger (really good)...not a fan of tots or sweet potato fries as a side.
(4)Brenton W.
They're still growing. Only six of the supposed 15+ beers that will eventually be available were on tap. I had the Kraken (IPA) and to be honest, it wasn't very hoppy at all. It wasn't a BAD beer, but I wouldn't even say it's hoppy enough to be considered a pale ale. We really only stopped in for 30 minutes on the way out of town, just so we could see what this big place is that's been under construction for all this time. One thing I didn't like is how enormous their gift shop is. It's also the first thing you see when you walk in. Do you want to be labeled as a brewery-first or a tourist trap that wants to capitalize off the craft beer boom by ways of selling merchandise with the words "Ocean City" and "Beer" on it? The bartenders were SUPER FRIENDLY. Had some great conversation with them so I have no complaints as far as the service went. Even though, like I said, we only had a beer and left. We'll definitely be back to give the food a shot but I really got a weird impression when I was there.
(3)Jenn K.
Came here twice...first time just had beer flight and liked most of the beers we tried, surf rider was my favorite. 2nd time came to watch football... They have alot of big tvs to watch the game. Had another surf rider and split a pizza, kahuna egg rolls and sweet potato fries. The food was really good and pizza was part of all day happy hour. Will def. come back next time in OC. Bartender was really nice and service was good.
(5)Bethany A.
Typical beachy sports bar/brew-pub vibe but with HUGE gift shop in front third of restaurant. The second third of the restaurant includes tables near the swinging kitchen doors and the rear is the sports bar area with high tables w/ stools. The food was decent, the beer good and the service so-so. I think it may have been a bit better in the bar area. Our waitress was nice but kept forgetting about us. She forgot one of our starters (it came out well after all the entrees after we reminded her) she didn't deduct our free starter (thanks Yelp!) and we had to wait forever to pay. The kids were able to entertain themselves with the over sized tabletop chess set. To sum up, it's probably a good place to spend an afternoon watching football games and trying their various beer offerings--maybe not a great place for a family dinner.
(2)Steve S.
Popped in to grab a menu and dial up a quick burger and a pretzel for a takeout nosh after a long day. I asked the hostess for the takeout menu and when I didn't see a phone number on it she advised me that they didn't provide her with that info. 8-/. Um, huh? Since I couldn't call in an order I was directed to place it at the bar. I found out quickly that the pretzel with beer cheese and the Maryland crab soup were 86'd due to supply issues. Uhhhhh, ok. There was certainly no shortage of branded tee shirts, nerf footballs, hats and other logo wear in the front of this Sunsations cum mega-tavern. In the end, the burger was fine as were the Thai egg rolls but I sure hope they get their ship together soon or that souvenir wear might become quite collectible.
(1)Loretta C.
Atmosphere is cool. Stopped in on Friday and the beer is pretty good. I was incredibly disappointed when a few friends and I tried going back to watch the US game. One of the hostesses came out of nowhere and literally blocked us from walking to the back. It was honestly one of the weirdest things. I told her we weren't eating there that we just wanted to stand and grab a beer for the game. She said good luck in a very rude manner. There were plenty of tables open in the front, so I am unsure why she acted this way.

Be prepared to be constantly up charged. BBQ sauce was terrible. Tourist trap. We forgot our tokens at home from the last beer fest we went to. Bummer. They did take the yelp deal but they weren't happy about it. Enjoyed the mad scientist beer and lost souls. 50/50 about trying again.

My boyfriend and I visited oc brewing company yesterday for lunch. We ordered hot wings, tater tots, and nachos. I was a little disappointed that the only option for fries was tater tots, or sweet potato fries but that is because I'm obsessed with French fries. The wings flavor was amazing, very spicy and flavorful. They looked very meaty, but after a few bites I realized it was more of a soggy fat layering. The nachos were just okay. The top layering had good amount of Toppings, but then you end up with 20 chips with nothing on bottom layer. My boyfriend liked tater tots. The restaurant bar itself atmosphere was awesome. I would definitely like to come back to drink and experience night life here. Beautiful bar not i was not impressed with food for the price.
(2)Emily H.
The only complaint is that the service is really slow and not every beer advertised outside is available to taste yet. Understandable bc they are new but still kind of disappointing. Joshua's red is great. By far my favorite beer. As for food we got the cheeseburger flatbread, pretzels, tots and cheesesteak egg rolls. Typical bar food id say but the egg rolls were awesome. I'd go again for a glass of Joshua's red and an egg roll without hesitation! I have a feeling this place will become a tradition with my family!
(3)Chip C.
Beer was good. Food and service was terrible. Too many other places to choose from and at $150 for 4 people it's no bargain either.
(2)Coleton C.
Had some awesome food there, while there I got a few different beers and enjoyed all of them. The buffalo chicken flatbread pizza was what I ordered and it was very good and filling, I would recommend this to anyone looking for good food and good beer!
(5)Tamara O.
It was not impressive. My nachos had about 3 square inches of burnt cheese, and friends burger had no mushrooms, even though it was a mushroom burger. Very $$$$$ the drinks however were very strong

I loved this place. First time in Ocean City for my wife and I. It's kinda become a thing to check out local breweries while we're away from home. First stop on my list was OCBC, and it did not disappoint. I was surprised to find out they were only 4 weeks old, the beers were great and the food was amazing! As a wheat and fruit beer drinker, I tested the Dragon's Moon (Belgian honey and vanilla), Gold Digger (raspberry pale) and Alrighty Then (watermelon wheat) in a flight - that's 3 beers, I'm guessing about 3-4 ounces each for $6. I enjoyed them all. They also had a few other non-OCBC brews on tap as well and an entire bar full of liquor - I'm sure anyone will find something they like! Love the merch section of the store, it seems that's where the owner has come from, and he didn't disappoint there - I'll be leaving OC, MD with a t-shirt and a tap handle for the memory! As far as food, wow! My wife and I split the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and the Cheese Bread - both were excellent - but probably the best Buffalo Chicken Sandwich I ever had... from the bun to the buffalo. Overall, it was a great experience, plan to go back today and get a tour of the brewery if we have time. I think our server was from Ireland, had an accent, he did a great job. I know they're only a month old, so there's some definite growing pains. They seemed to be a bit slammed when we got there, but I think that will work out with time. Their hostess was a bit frazzled with the sudden pop in walk-ins, but that will happen when the rain rolls in around dinner time. :) All in all, we found that all the tall bar area tables were seat yourself and had enough high chairs with backs that we were able to sit comfortably - and you could probably too even with about 20 people in your group! LOL Great time, great atmosphere - I wish them luck on buttoning up their business, but I give them 5 stars from my experience! I WILL return, if I ever make it back to Ocean City, MD.
(5)Jeff R.
The food has been a big miss on both of our visits. The first visit we tried the egg rolls, they came out burned. The bar tender commented that they were a little "crispy" and walked off. The second visit I got the cheese steak and it was tiny an had very little steak. My wife got the shrimp ceaser salad, it was small and they uncharged us $7.99 for three tiny shrimp on a stick. $18 bucks for 3 shrimp and some lettuce? ? Wow. If we go back we will eat first and focus on the over priced beer.
(2)Christina B.
I really wanted to like this place. The beer is great and we had a good time. But the service is horrible. Took forever for us to get our food. When the waitress delivered my flight of 3 beers, she didn't tell me which one was which. Thankfully I've had enough beer in my life to tell the difference by color. Oh...and our food just came out and it was wrong...and only corrected it on the THIRD time. *sigh*

We're here on vacation and we LOVE craft beer and beer tours. We were VERY excited to come check this place out. The tour guide was fun and it was very informative. So excited to go try the beers after the tour, however, they were out of many of them. There were 6 of us on the tour and ordered many, many appetizers. One of them was the fried pickles. There were 10 slices in this very large basket. They're pickles. How much could it cost to fill the basket? We also did not like the Nuckin Futs. We asked if we could try a little of the Strawberry one and the waitress said " one sample per table". We didn't even get a sample as we had a friend join us later and I guess she got a sample and that counted towards ours. Mind you this woman sampled the beer and then purchased one. The waitress gave in and brought my friend a sample. You have a slogan of "We do things different here". Does this mean saying the word NO to your customers over and over again? We decided to leave and go down the street at the Abbey Burger Bistro for happy hour and dinner. We had 16 people and spent hundreds of $$$$. Many excellent beers on tap and their slogan should be " sure we can do that".
(2)Krissy P.
Awful nachos, awful service, good beer. Just go for the beer, expect nothing else! The waitress was rude. Whatever you do, DO NOT order nachos.
(1)Brandi G.
Okay so I love craft beer and breweries. But this place had underwhelming beer and the service was awful. Took forever to get a beer once we finished our flight. We ordered a cheesesteak for lunch. $12 for a tiny 6 inch cheesesteak!!! Save your time and money and drive to Dogfish in Rehoboth. This place is NOT worth it!
(2)Ken S.
Second time here. 2:30 Saturday, understaffed. That was out front, who knows in back.Beer gets a star and waitstaff gets one. Had the Porter and the sausage sandwich. Brew was nice and fresh, sandwich, dry, and overcooked, probably nuked. Got a replacement burger that was much nicer. Great place to watch games with huge wall screens, but don't expect starlike food. First time here sampled the beers and had an uninspiring egg roll. Again, it's nothing special, but at least you know what to expect, most of the reviews are true. So, consistency is the issue and that needs constant supervising, they are lacking in that.
(2)Lauren S.
What?! How does this place only have so few stars!? We had such a great experience here. Our server, Zoe, was so awesome and thanked us 100 times for being "patient," when we didn't even realize that we had been waiting a little while for our food. Cool ambiance, delicious food - I got the fish tacos, and they were awesome - and a nice little shop to get souvenirs if you're not a local. Crab dip appetizer was amazing. My favorite part was that they told us to sit wherever we like, which meant not getting crammed into some tight space or in some abandoned corner. Not sure if they do that on weekends - we went on a Wednesday - but it was awesome, nonetheless. Thanks, OC Brewing Company!
(4)Kara M.
Stopped in on a Saturday night. Beer is good but the service was terrible. It wasn't busy at all. The server took our order for two appetizers and we never got them. Very disappointed.
(1)Rob E.
Cool clothing products, I am sure they will continue to improve their service as they work out the kinks of being new. Worth a visit.
(2)Eric M.
The service was phenomenal! Justin and Jeremy impressed me as bartenders, which is hard to do! Their Thai chicken egg rolls (made to order, btw) were incredible! The Hammer flatbread was also amazing! I highly recommend visiting this local Maryland brewery and restaurant!
(5)Allyson C.
Their beers are really delicious, slightly more expensive than I'm used to but worth it. Had some food which was really good. Staff was very friendly and tentative! The interior is just phenomenal to look at, someone definitely put in a lot of time designing the place. I recommend for anyone looking for somewhere new, just note it's not a dive.
(5)Lisa M.
Great beers but many listed on their website still aren't available. The place is still new so it's understandable that they're still rolling out new beers but it would have been helpful if that was noted on the website. They offer a beer sampler that's $6 for three four-ounce samplers which is more pricey than other similar places but still not a bad deal. The beers were all good and tasted as described. The food was great, sweet potato fries and egg rolls are a must try. The service was a little slow and there seemed to be confusion on how to purchase and refill a growler but again, it's a new place. We'll definitely go back!
(4)Connie S.
Husband and I looked forward to trying it. Went for lunch. My Thai salad seemed like a tasteless, frozen chicken patty thrown on a bag of shredded lettuce from the grocery store. Dressing was tasty. Husband's Flat bread pizza was thin with an absurdly small portion of chicken. We left hungry and out almost $40. Server was excellent and knowledgeable. Great decor. Looks like a fun place. Just wish the quality of the food improves. Hope to try beer next time. Worth another try.
(2)Rob S.
Great innovative craft beers!! Good service and great food!!! Definitely a must visit in OC.
(5)Scott B.
Great staff, great service, great beer, great to watch sports. Vacationing from Florida, but have been coming to OC for 30 years and it's about time the eastern shore got a place like this. Check it out.
(5)Liz S.
Service terribly slow. All we got was a flight of 3 beers and the entire process (ordering, waiting for them, drinking, and getting the check) took 1.5 hours.
(1)David P.
Didn't eat, just drank, but the beer was awesome. Place is very clean and the atmosphere is perfect for a brew pub.
(5)John B.
This place was great. Tried social x, OC light, kraken and spoiled brat. Enjoyed all of them. Cool atmosphere and delicious food. Will definitely be coming here on all of our visits.
(5)Joe C.
The food here was really good. The beer was good, cold and plentiful. But unfortunately the service wasn't great. Staff was very nice and friendly but they were either all having bad days or they just weren't trained very well.
(3)Emily C.
The beer and food were average but the space was good. We dined with two kids and found the space kid friendly. Women's bathroom was large and had a changing table which was a bonus.
(3)Joe D.
Went there just to try it out. Not horrible but won't go back there. Beer selection is good but as the alcohol content of the beer goes up, the glass size diminishes. Ordered fish and chips... A single piece of fish, another disappointment. Food is tasty but the portions are small.
(3)Anthony P.
Awesome food and service. We come to OC every year and we always try to eat at 2 new places. This is definitely going to be a regular place for us for years to come. All 11 house beers on tap we're great, the food was all prepared perfectly, and the service was terrific. If you want a nice dining experience with a laid back feel this is definitely a place you'd want to consider.
(5)Rick K.
While the place advertises "family friendly," I'd say they aren't really. No crayons or coloring page for the kids (this is just one of those basics that restaurants do now--especially those that say "family friendly." The kids meals were also a bit expensive, I thought--$8-$9.50 for a corn dog, fries, drink, and ice cream. I got one of their specialty egg rolls, which is essentially any of the sandwiches made into an egg roll. I thought this was different and fun, and it was good. I ordered the BBQ pork one. There were two of them and quite large. Plenty for a whole meal. The beers were pretty good--I'd come back and get them again; however, they advertised about 12 beers, but had only six on tap. As others have said, it was noisy. The kids complained about wanting food (they rarely do--usually, it's the opposite) and the hostess went into the back and brought out some homemade chips for them--very nice of her.
(3)Leslie M.
It was a disappointing experience. We were looking forward to having another dining and drinking option near my condo in the mid 50's. I think they are going for a bier garden ambience but the hard surfaces and high ceiling created the impression of a high school gym. It was very loud. Coasters with the drinks would have prevented the table from toning into a puddle of condensation and further ruining the torn, wrinkled "specials menu". The crabcake special was served with a cold, bland crabcake and mashed potatoes that tasted like instant. My companion's egg rolls were reported as good. The bar area featured some nice TV's and we might go back to have a beer and watch a game. There was no high speed internet available which is pretty standard these days. They just opened earlier this week so I might try them again after their shake out period.
(2)Chris S.
Update 7/3. Went back. Very few people but tons of staff. Our server was more concerned texting and socializing than she was bringing us our drinks. The new beers were OK. Just OK. Not great. Not terrible. I filled two growlers of the ones I liked best. The one growler was filled all the way. The other was filled with tons of head and ended up being a little bit over 3/4 full. Very disappointed as an experienced brewer would fill it 100%. Experience left me a little disappointed.
(2)Gina S.
Food is delicious! Love the atmosphere. Server- Ashley was excellent. Very personable and great service!
(4)Jody R.
Love this place! Great place to have a few beers (great craft line up), get some delicious food and look in on the brewing tanks. Loved the atmosphere...able to hang out at the high top tables and didn't feel rushed. A new 'MUST TRY' for anyone in OCMD!!
(5)Denise A.
Welcome OC Brewing Company ! It doesn't get any better than this ! It's nice to have a new face in town. We were there the Saturday of St. Patrick's Day. It was raining. We saw OC Brewing Company and decided to try it. We ordered an appetizer, Brew House Pretzel, (it was wonderful) and a flight of micro brews. The food was great, I had bangers and mash and the micro brews were even better. We sat and chatted a while and decided to order a regular glass of micro brew, we ate lunch. We chatted some more, a we were going to leave and the sky just opened up with rain. We turned around and went back in and had another flight of micro brew and ate another appetizer. The place is huge and it was crowded on that day, but you could move around with no problem. The bar is real nice. They had a couple live bands in the back. Even though it was crowded the service was great and everyone kept their cool to make sure everyone was happy. I will be definitely be going back. In my opinion I like their microbrews better than DuClaw. See you in the summer !

Horrible experience - dont bother. Super slow service, had to find our own waiter, no silverware. Try somewhere else with better acoustics.

We had researched this restaurant before our stay in Ocean City. Needless to say, we were very excited about a new brewing company being opened not long before we arrived. Our first impression when we walked in was "wow!" We walked through a suvenier shop and past a small dining area to a massive bar area! Wicked awesome! This already had us extremely excited. It took upwards of 10 minutes for our server to greet us. Once she arrived she was very kind however not very knowledgeable of the menu or beer. Since there was such a variety of beer on the list we asked her what her favorite was in which her response was "I don't know, I only drink light beer." We ordered a round of apps including crab dip, Irish nachos, wings, and soft pretzels with dips. The only thing worth noting was the crab dip. Excellent. Pretty much everyone got the blackened Mahi Mahi tacos which were awful. We thought we were eating coleslaw tacos instead of fish...not pleased. The beer was good, no complaints about that. Over all the food and service by Sabra was sub par but we would go back for the beer.
(2)Shannon M.
Me and my friends arrived in OCMD before check in and decided to stop in here for food. We loved it so much we ended up coming back the night before we left for dinner. They have the long tables in the back that you can sit at with other groups of people or regular tables if you want to be more secluded. I would suggest getting the 3-6oz beer samples, my favorite was the Social X and my friends all enjoyed the Joshua Reds. They change their beers pretty constantly though, and the ones advertised when you walk in are the ones brewing not the ones available. Also try the flatbreads, we all had them and were all very satisfied. Even though there were no major games on when we were there, they have projectors and TVs and looks like it would be a great place to watch a game.
(5)D F.
My only complaint is that we found this place our last day. Pretzel App was big. Had the Big BBQ Sandwich tender pork. Liked the sampler beers. My favorite was the Lost Souls. Grabbed a bottle from the gift shop. I hope they make it up to Jersey.
(5)Kelley C.
We are locals and have waited for this place to open up. Stopped in for lunch at the end of June and had two flights of the beer they had on tap (and later glasses of what we liked) with fried pickles. The beer was a small but nice sampling. We hope they'll have more beers on the menu as they become available . Ashley, our waitress, was outgoing, conversational, and attentive. She definitely made our first trip worthwhile. We had hoped we could have our own growler filled and were told we had to buy theirs. That's why 4/5 stars. Ashley made this a must-go-back-again place.

This place was awesome! We went on Saturday, August 30th for my birthday lunch. I could not be more pleased with the food I got and the beers are some of the best craft brews I have tasted. There were 2 that were on the menu that were not currently in season, but we were informed of that before we ordered anything. The $6 flights for three 5-oz pours of any thing they have on tap were great. My wife and I each got a flight and I must say that the menu described each perfectly! The brew-house pretzel appetizer was amazing! I had the fish tacos and they were delicious. My wife had the southwest chicken egg rolls and they were good quality with a nice funky twist on two flavors that we like. No room for desert after all of that! Our server, Ryan, could not have done any better. Not overbearing but was available every time we were ready for a refill on water or ready to order the next course. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and the beer. This is not the cheapest place, but the food and beer is very good for the money!
(5)Nisha C.
My family and I got into OC late afternoon after a three hour ride and were just looking for a quick good bite of food. So happy we decided to go to OC Brewing. Got in without a crazy wait time and had our food fairly quickly given it was a Saturday night! Food was great-- beer was awesome-- I recommend kahuna! Kids loved their pizza and very shocked when we said it came with ice cream!! I'm not a fan of potato chips but I got some with my burger-- best homemade chips-- so tasty! Will be going back again this week!!
(5)Matt R.
Awesome look. Ambiance was spot on!! Can wait to try all the beers. Food was creative and delicious. Our new spot!!!
(5)Heidi S.
Fun place to stop in for happy hour. It's almost expected now for a beach/resort/tourist town to have a brewery (or several). The man and I looked at the beer menu and decided we wanted to stop in for a flight after our 4pm "linner." This place is huge! Much bigger than it looks from the outside. I loved the atmosphere which, as others have noted, is a lot like a festhaus. Several long bar tables. It got pretty loud while we were there (mostly thanks to several cackling bridal parties) and this was when it was at around 30% capacity. I can't imagine what it's like in peak-season! We sat at the bar and were served promptly. They have several bartenders so we were never ignored. I won't comment on the beer, as that's a personal preference, and we didn't try any food, but I really enjoyed coming in, relaxing and watching some college football. Good time. Good specials. Friendly staff.

My husband and I always enjoy trying local microbreweries and thought this would be a fun trip. We brought our toddler here on a weeknight after Labor Day and each ordered two flights of beer. Their flights were 3 beers each for $6. Two of the beers were an extra two dollars each. I wanted to try those so my flight was $10. (Pumpkin beer and something else.) It really wasn't worth it to me for $10 after having the beer. The best of the bunch to me was a brown ale. We ordered off the kids menu and got the toddler Mac and cheese, which apparently in OC means Kraft. Fine and well but for $8? A little steep. Kids meal also came with applesauce. We were supposed to get a drink and ice cream but they never came. I attempted to order a mozzarella caprese salad only to be told they were out of mozzarella. Since the waiter didn't give me a menu, I didn't really know what to pick as a replacement so just went with a Caesar salad as a replacement. It went with the crab soup. Soup was good, salad was meh. Hubby loved his mahi mahi meal though so I guess it wasn't a waste. All in all I won't ever be returning on a shore trip.
(2)Mary S.
Love this place Great ambiance Huge food portions - and very good Food items that you cannot get anywhere else Try Short Rib Tacos and a flight, you will not be disappointed
(5)Joe F.
This may be my new favorite place in OCMD, I was saying to my wife on the way down to MD that I was surprised there wasn't a brewing company here but alas it was started back in 2014 and is right around the corner from where we stayed. Delicious egg rolls and the special meatball parm flatbed was amazing....and the beer is worth while too, experimental flavors that are worth the time to try....STOP HERE AGAIN AND AGAIN!
(5)Haboo Z.
Great concept and really nice gift shop. Really wanted to try certain beers, but unfortunately they were out of about 5 different ones which was disheartening since it was midweek. My husband tried the Lost Souls and I had the Ogre. Did not try the food, but menu looked decent. I would be willing to stop by again.
(3)Fred K.
3 -3 1/2 stars. It's a big place inside with a large bar and lots of tv's. Family friendly restaurant with kids menu. Lots of families during dinner. No wait either, which is good in OC. Maybe it was just me and just wasn't feeling it during dinner. Will have to come here one more time as my dining companions was sick (didn't eat his crab cake sandwich), other was sleeping (5 yo niece and waste of $9 kids meal), other only ordered soup, and I was the only one really eating. I ordered a cheesesteak egg roll or was it southwest egg roll as an appetizer (so big I was stuffed just eating two of them) and proceeded to get a burger that had short rib on top. That burger was quite good I must say. Tater tots rocked too. Man I was stuffed. The knock on the stars were their beers. I must have ordered the wrong beers as their American pale ale tasted nothing like a pale ale I've ever tasted and their lager beer wasn't doing it for me either. Will have to come back and try their other beers. Wonder how this compares to that other brewery restaurant on 45th street with killer bay and sunset views. Will have to do a comparison test next time I'm back!
(3)Hannah S.
Hike up your Tourist pants and head into OC Brewing. Nucking Futs takes my crown, but overall it wasn't the BEST beer I've ever had. It is beer though. And you are at the beach. So that's good. The food was ehh. Probs won't bring grandma here for dinner. Or for a snack. Probs won't even ask for a menu next time. This is more of your 5 o'clock-somewhere-socializing spot where you can chug down a couple cold ones and aggressively argue about interfaith relationships and all the Republican Candidates you can't name. Dig it? Think open floor plan and casual group seating. BTW the gift shop is epic, so if you're looking for that cheesy 2015 beach memorabilia, come here.
(3)Steve G.
Philly cheesesteak dip is very good and a pleasant surprise. Smas angus burger had a very good flavor. Beer flights are reasonable. Prices in general are little expensive.
(4)Keith K.
Mainly, my wife and I came here for the drinks because I'm a big fan of micro-brewed fresh beer and OCBC did not disappoint. The main beers I drank were the Barrel Aged Pumpkin and Nuckin Futs. The Pumpkin beer had a hint of bourbon, which I surprisingly liked and the Nuckin Futs was just a really good beer. The wife got a few of the special mixed drinks and she enjoyed everyone. My wife and I sat the bar and it was not crowded at 10 pm. We never had to wait for a drink because our bartenders were very attentive. Overall, I was very satisfied with the beer here and would defiantly come back again to try out new beers. Beers were a bit pricey, but well worth the money because of how good they were.
(4)Steven M.
I wish I could tell you, dear friends, that I ate hear. Sadly...I did not. We were looking for a place to watch a football game. A game in which other local establishments did not have. OC did have. This place is HUGE. Lots of TV's. I enjoyed my multiple beers that I ordered. Kraken, OC light, OC Ale, etc. the menu looked extensive. And the food that was ordered around us looked good. They have a full bar with wine and cocktails. A great place if you want something more chill and relaxing versus other busy bars and clubs in the area.

Review for Tour/Flight: Bought the groupon for two for the brew tour. Came with 30min-ish tour from an exhausted brewer, 2 flights of beer (3 4oz drafts each), some stickers, an app coupon, and a growler. At the bar, they advertised the tour for $10/person; I asked the bartender, and I believe the 10 didn't include a growler (you have to pay to have it filled of course). First impressions of the bar/restaurant: it would be worth it to pay a hostess. The seating and bar are way in the back, can be confusing for some, kinda a seat yourself. We had to find a server and ask about the tour and were directed back up front, and the lady/manager whose lunch we interrupted (sorry?) rang us up, and told us the tour started at 3:10. We decided to have one of our flights before, and the bartender was great. I started to ask him about the flights and beer list and he insisted I take a seat at his bar, walked us through everything, and was attentive. The tour was fine for what we paid, nice to see the equipment inside. It was a little disorganized, but they just finished an all night brew. We got to taste some grains, smell some hops, try to hear the brewer, and checked out their setup. We had our second flight after the tour, and used our app discount ($2off). We had the pretzels, and also an order of Thai egg rolls. Pretzels were good for something you can get pretty much anywhere. I love the egg roll idea (they have 5ish types on the menu), and a weekly egg roll. The Thai chicken rolls were good, would order them again. Our bartender was the same as before, and just a helpful. Overall, the tour was worth the 25 bucks, and I love the souvenir growler. The apps we had were good, and bar service was what kept us there after. I would go back for food/drinks, and would recommend the $25 tour to friends.
(4)Hank F.
Took the 1:00 pm tour Saturday. Tours at 11, 1 and 3. $10 includes 3 samples of your choice. Tour guide/front of house manager with the beard was very well versed and gave any questions full explanation. They have apparently outgrown their space with distribution in surrounding states and are looking to start canning and bottling as they find a off the beach facility. Ocean city does not allow it on their level of production. Place is huge inside with sports bar theme in the bar/restaurant area. Gift shop with Schwag up front. Overall a nice experience. Look forward to returning.

Let me start off by saying the location was clean, bright, spacious, but the raves stop about there. The service was snail paced because they were understaffed. Then the server forgot drinks, 1 out of 10 platters, and the menus were so large i was hitting the poor girl sitting next to me at the table. Le sigh. I was hoping this vast building held some sort of delicious food at least, but everything was just ok. I would eat here again, but probably after I tried everything else on the island. I do regret not trying their craft beers. I think it is pretty cool they keep most brews local. Maybe once they get more staff the place will run smoother. Here is to hope for the OCBC!

The boyfriend and I came here for dinner on Valentine's Day. I imagine this place having more people if it wasn't Valentine's day - although there were a good amount of people, maybe because the room is so big it might felt like it was empty. There was a live band but no one on the dance floor. When you first walk in, you are in their gift shop. We went up to the cashier who told us we seat ourselves behind for food. I don't like the whole "seat yourself" thing because I always wonder in crowded places how they would know we were seated. And maybe if there were already menus on the table but when we sat down, we were lost as to if we needed to get the attention of a waiter - there were a few standing near the kitchen door but completely ignored us. We ended up just grabbing menus from another table before someone came over. When our waiter did come over, he was very nice and for the rest of the night very attentive. He recommended their signature egg rolls but we did not want egg rolls.. The boyfriend got a burger which he enjoyed and I got the ISLAND CHICKEN - "(2) Teriyaki marinated chicken breasts, grilled, and topped with fresh pineapple rings. Served with choice of two sides" the chicken breast was perfect! Not too over powered by the teriyaki sauce which I was worried about. I just started liking pineapples in other things besides my drink so I was looking forward to this! For my 2 sides, I got tater tots and cheesy mash potatoes - there is never enough potatoes! The mash was good but the tots were too oily so I didn't eat much of that. The boyfriend got sweet potatoes (yes!) which I really enjoyed dipped in my mash or teriyaki sauce. Since this is a brewing company, you can see their machine line in the back and for $10 you can take a tour. If I am back here, I would definitely consider coming back! Check out the sign for the girl's bathroom!

My family and I did the brew tour and it was fun to see behind the scenes and learn about their products from the start. My husband and I had our free sample flights included with the tour and my daughter had their root beer. My flights were : mad scientist ( 9/10 a yummy chocolate mix! Really good flavors in a dark beer) Spoiled Brat : (10/10 amazing smell and taste! This beer is a healthy 11% and doesn't have a hard after finish like others with a high alcohol content. I just wish it wasn't 36 dollars to fill the growler.... That's a major downfall. Joshua's Red : (10/10 a really smooth beer with a sweet honey finish, we got a growler of it to go! ) My husband's 3 were kinda just there, decent but no where near as good as the three I had, he even agreed. Their twisted root beer (non alcoholic) was really flavorful! We also had their twisted pretzels, we all loved them! I really recommend this for something to soak up the beer.

We were excited to check out this brewery and restaurant. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. We were a large group but it wasn't packed. While our appetizers came out in a timely manner, our main meals took an hour or more to be delivered to the table and then some it was cold. At no point did a manager ever come out to talk to us or address these issues. However, multiple people in our party sought out the manager to report the issues we were having. Our server was appropriate and on top of his end of the deal. But management did a very poor job of handling the issue and by not addressing this and owning up to it, they have ruined the reputation of this establishment in our eyes.

Just stopped in to try the beer and review the menu for future visit and watch a ball game, The TVs were AMAZING at the bar but the Bartender was a little distant. We asked for a sample of Festivus and were informed we could buy a flight of 3 beers for the price of a pint. Great suggestion I thought.. We got 2 flights each with a "premium " Festivus. The beer was cold and had cool names they did not live upto.5 trial beers without a good choice and the Festivus (Bourbon) beer was awful. The place was big and spacious but EMPTY.I would guess this is a recurring theme for the OCBC. All brew pubs don't have all good beer but 5 out of 5 is a warning. Then we got the check and were charges a $2 Surcharge for the 5 oz.Festivus. Very UN-Festivus like. No future return planned. Did I mention that the TV's were awesome.

So we showed up here with a party of 10......we arrived an hour ago ordered almost as soon as we sat down. Just received the food after asking and being told it was being plated about three times. Finally got a manager (we think) to go and check and she told us again it was being plated. Order came out 10 mins later....wrong and we literally have an extra entre sitting on the table..... Food and beer was actually pretty good but the kitchen was a disaster....also we went with kids and there were two people who actually fell out of their chairs...had to move my 3 year olds high chair because the guy next to him would have taken him out if he had been sitting there at the time.......

This place was great. The food was amazing and the service was great. I tried a different kind of beer that you normally wouldn't get at a bar or store and it was tasty. Definitely will come back if im in OC, MD again.

Excellent brews, delicious IPAs especially Surf Ryder & Route 50. The fruit varieties were super smoothe for summer, be sure to try the Orange crush (yes beer!) Good food & informative customer service (I love a place that shares details on their craft beer production :)

Who would have thought a brewery would have great food too? I was pleasantly surprised by their extensive menu and quickly had a dilemma on my hands....what should I eat??? We started off with the Irish nachos, which is made with tatar tots. Let's just say their twist on Irish nachos was unique & very delicious! For my meal I had chicken soft tacos... I was far from disappointed. My sweet potato fries were the only thing I did not care for, but that's solely because I like my fries a little crispier...no big deal though. I've had their beer before, so I know that was good...but now I can say that when in Ocean City, MD, go to Ocean City Brewing Co. for good food & drinks!

Good food, great service. And the homemade root beer is really good. Thought the root beer floats could use a little work though. A lot of soda and a little bit of ice cream.

Awesome flights and great beer. Wish they could make soul of krakken in a growler. All in all great brewery, great unique egg rolls, family friendly. Thanks Jason

Philly cheesesteak dip is very good and a pleasant surprise. Smas angus burger had a very good flavor. Beer flights are reasonable. Prices in general are little expensive.

(1)Douglas F.
(2)Daxx C.
(5)Kristy H.
(3)Daniel P.
Really good food and even better beer. The egg-rolls are amazing. I definitely recommend trying a bunch of different egg-rolls and sharing them. All the food is good, but make sure to get a few samplers of beer!!
(4)Joe F.
(3)Chris G.
Just used our groupon, staff was really nice and helpful! Beers were good, they have a great varietal from very aromatic wheats, heavy porters, to nicely hopped IPAs. Will definitely be back to try some their food and the rest of their beers! Cheers!
(4)John O.
(4)Tony J.
Our bartender Dan was cool but if you like beer than this is the place to come. Try a flight for $6 you get 3 kinds of beer. The food is not that good and it's overpriced!!!!
(3)Angie L.
(4)Laurie W.
(4)Jackie K.
I would come back to try their new stuff and I missed their Kolsh :-(
(4)Neale O.
(5)Dan G.

(4)Jessica L.
(4)Tuan L.
Great place. The Egg Roll is amazing. Fair price. Great atmosphere. Highly recommended.
(5)Janet M.
Loved! Bartender Jason was the best! All the food was excellent...and the grapefruit crushes!!!
(5)Kris L.
(3)Lynanne W.
(4)Chris G.
(4)Steve M.
Great beer, imaginative and tasty food selections, knowledgeable wait staff who are enthusiastic about the beers and the foods. We'll be back every time we come to Ocean City. Cons: noisy Pros: see my first paragraph
(4)Maria M.
Hospitable but slow. Food was ok. Colossal crab salad wasn't so colossal. Vidalia dressing was good. Good price.
(3)Matt M.
(4)Lindsay B.
(1)Mackenzie M.
We had great service despite what the other reviews said. It wasn't too busy. The food took a little longer than usual to come out the our server was very apologetic. My husband loved his. I got a teriyaki chicken sandwich and it was pretty bland but everything else was great!
(4)Amy B.
(3)Robyn B.
(5)Roswell Einstein M.
Unfiltered beer right out of casks - decent food and no line. If you love beer like me this is a "MUST" stop - love these type of brew houses!!! The beer was great. Only knock I can give is had a turkey burger (really good)...not a fan of tots or sweet potato fries as a side.
(4)Loretta C.
(2)Brenton W.
(1)Julie R.
(2)Chels P.
(2)Rob E.
(5)Bud A.
*sigh*
(2)Karen S.
(1)Allyson C.
(5)Alison M.
Horrible experience - dont bother. Super slow service, had to find our own waiter, no silverware. Try somewhere else with better acoustics.
(1)Cassie B.
(4)Joe And Amanda A.
